Brian Bishop

I'm a freelance sports photographer based in Pulaski, VA. Most see me on the sideline of a Virginia Tech football or a basketball game, which I cover for USA Today/Imagn or a local high school on Friday night.

I started photography at age 10 with a k1000 with my dad. His love for photography grew on me and I have been taking photos ever since. My son, Hunter often joins me at sporting events and is a excellent photographer. I hope his love for photography grows as mine did.

My full time job is owner of Bishop Insurance, a local property and casualty agency. I spent many years in banking before moving to insurance in 2010. I grew up in Pulaski and went to Pulaski County High School and Radford University.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Kelly for 30 years, we have a daughter, Caroline and a son, Hunter. We are members of the Pulaski Church of God.
